Alisha Owens Is Named Chief Revenue Officer at NOLA Media Group
NOLA Media Group, publisher of the storied Times-Picayune newspaper and NOLA.com in New Orleans, has announced the appointment of Alisha Owens to the new position of VP and Chief Revenue Officer, reporting to President Tim Williamson.
As CRO, Alisha leads a multi platform sales organization responsible for building advertising, sponsorship, and digital marketing services revenues from the company’s expanding portfolio of local media products and services including the award-winning Times-Picayune, NOLA.com, Mardigras.com, Where NOLA Eats, and NOLA Mundo.
Williamson notes, “Alisha brings an incredible amount of media experience to our community. Under her leadership our revenue team will enjoy the latest and most forward thinking strategies to help our clients reach their goals.”
Alisha brings 25 years’ media experience, most recently as VP, Advertising and Marketing for the Arizona Daily Star, and previously as Director of Advertising for the Post and Courier in Charleston, SC and The Press of Atlantic City (NJ).
