Crain Recruits Executive Editor from Chicago Tribune
Julie T. Tatge has been appointed as Executive Editor at Crain Communications’ Pensions & Investments, the leading media brand for institutional money managers. She will be based in P&I’s Chicago newsroom and succeeds Amy Resnick, who has been promoted to Editor and is based in New York.
Julie joins P&I from The Chicago Tribune, where she has been Business Editor since 2011. There, she was responsible for business news coverage and department operations for the print edition, digital news and special reports, as well as for Page One stories addressing corporate, economic, and financial issues. Her earlier experience includes Assistant City Editor at the Tribune and Deputy Business Editor at the Columbus Dispatch. Julie earned undergraduate and graduate journalism degrees at Ohio State, where she held a Kiplinger Fellowship in Public Affairs Reporting. She has coached young journalists as an adjunct professor at Northwestern, and a visiting professor at Ohio University’s Scripps School of Journalism.
